Initiation - is a rite of passage ceremony marking entrance or acceptance into a group or society. In an extended sense it can also signify a transformation in which the initiate is 'reborn' into a new role.

An introduction to Portal. Come meet with us to share in the extraordinary healing art. We will start with a discussion on the philosophy behind Portal. I will demonstrate a session with anyone who is interested in trying it out. Learn the basics of receiving and facilitating a therapeutic session. This includes group and partner yoga, partner acrobatics, and bodywork. Please don't let "acrobatics" or the feelings that you are not flexible enough get in the way of you experiencing this because it truly is for everybody. That is one of the qualities we will learn is how to adjust the session to meet the needs of the individual as well as with groups. Experience stepping through a Portal into a new dimension beyond fear into a healing space of trust. The weekend will also include learning some basic Thai stretches and massage techniques so that you as a "flyer" can give back to complete the giving and receiving loop. We will also explore what is on the other side of the Portal learning to intergrate the experience in everyday life.
